Terms and Conditions
By virtue of your registration with Learnalink Pte Ltd, you are considered to have read and consented to any updated terms and conditions. By registering, you and your child (hereafter, "student") acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to be bound by these terms.
Fees and Payment:
• Course Fees:
Fees are due in full before the first lesson of each month.
• Registration and Material Fees and Deposit:
Registration fee is $100 regardless of the number of subjects attended. Material Fee is $100 per academic year per subject, which includes lecture notes, tutorials, flashcards, and tests/past year papers. A deposit of a month’s fees (4 lessons) will be collected upon registration, and will be refunded upon successful graduation and completion of the course by the student. Should the student quit and terminate the outlined services prematurely, the deposit will be forfeited. All payments made for Fees, including Registration, Material Fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• Payment Methods:
We accept cash, PayNow, bank transfer, or cheque.
• Invoices:
Monthly invoices will be generated but no further reminders will be sent.
• Late Payments:
Outstanding payments will incur a $50 late fee per month, starting from the date of invoice
• Outstanding Debt:
- We reserve the right to suspend tuition for unpaid fees.
- After three months of non-payment, we may pursue legal action through the Small Claims Tribunal, depending on the likelihood of debt recovery.
- Late fees will continue to accrue until the debt is settled.
Attendance and Cancellation:
• Regular Attendance:
We encourage regular attendance for optimal learning progress.
•Cancellation Policy:
No show or cancellations will incur a full session charge without notice, unless an appropriate medical certificate is supplied prior to the time of the original lesson. A lecture video will be provided instead.
• Postponements:
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Students may choose to attend another class within the same week, subjected to availability, or the lesson will be forfeited. If lesson(s) are impossible to reschedule due to schedule conflicts, a lecture video will be provided.
- Missed make-up lessons will be forfeited and not be rescheduled. A video recording will not be provided.
• Make-up lessons: With valid reasons (i.e. medical certificate, reviewed on a case-by-case basis), make-up lessons can be arranged. Make-up lessons issued by tutors have an expiry date within a week from the date of issuance. For instance, if a make-up lesson falls on 10th January, the student has until 17th January to attend the make-up lesson.
• Emergency Cancellations: Last-minute emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Lessons cancelled by Learnalink: In the event that the assigned teacher is unable to take a lesson due to illness or emergency, a replacement lesson will be arranged for any cancelled lesson within the term.
• All lessons will be completed by the end of the term. Unused lessons will be forfeited without refund and will not be carried over to the next month.
• Late Arrivals: Lessons will end on time to avoid disrupting other students. Missed time cannot be extended.
• Disruptive Behaviour: Learnalink Pte Ltd reserves the right to exclude disruptive or inappropriate students from class.
Termination:
• A completed Withdrawal Form is to be submitted to Learnalink Pte Ltd at least 30 days in advance of the final lesson.
• We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
•If a student chooses to withdraw less than 30 days in advance of the final lesson, any paid fees will strictly not be refunded.
Indemnity:
Learnalink will not assume any responsibility or liability for any loss of property or personal injuries that occur within its premises. I agree to indemnify Learnalink Pte Ltd, its management and staff against all losses, liabilities, claims, actions, penalties, orders, and costs howsoever arising in connection with these terms and conditions.
Photography or Video:
Any materials taken within Learnalink’s premises require authorisation. These can only be used for personal purposes and not for commercial purposes. Learnalink Pte Ltd reserves the right to use your child’s picture on our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc) as promotional material.
Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA):
You permit Learnalink Pte Ltd to collect, use and disclose the personal data provided in this Enrolment Form or obtained by Learnalink Pte Ltd as a result of the student’s enrolment (‘Personal Data’) for the purposes of the administration and conduct of classes, fee notification, and scheduling of lessons, and other events organised by Learnalink Pte Ltd and any other purposes as notified by Learnalink Pte Ltd. You understand and agree that such personal data will not be sold to a third party for profit. Any photos and audio or video recordings made by Learnalink Pte Ltd will be permitted by you to be published on social media, including website, production and branding.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
