Learnalink began as a personal journey between two private tutors passionate about empowering students through diagrammatic learning that goes beyond the classroom.
Led by graduates from the NUS Faculty of Science (Honours with Distinction), Learnalink aims to bridge the gap between students and knowledge by making learning clear, visual, and meaningful.

About the Tutor
Hi! My name is Jun Hao and I’m really passionate about helping students grasp challenging concepts in a way that’s clear and engaging. Over 13 years, I’ve developed teaching methods that break down complex topics, thanks to my training in NUS Physics, and it’s been rewarding to see how many students have achieved success through them!
Fun Fact
I was the President of the Chess Club, and competed in several tournaments and managed to win a few trophies!

Tutor Jia Yan

About the Tutor
Hi! I’m Jia Yan, a final-year Life Sciences student at NUS. Since 2023, I’ve been tutoring Secondary Science, helping students build strong foundations and apply concepts confidently across different question types.
I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs, identifying learning gaps through their work and addressing them with clear explanations and targeted practice. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is to help students understand—not just memorise—so they can approach unfamiliar questions with greater confidence and independence.
Fun Fact
I spend my free time crocheting many things with the biggest project being a flower bouquet blanket!

About the Tutor
Hi! I’m Javier, a Raffles Institution graduate with 4 A*s and a Distinction in H3 Biology. I started teaching to challenge the idea that Biology is all about memorisation. To me, it’s a fascinating, logical subject—and understanding why biological processes happen makes the details much easier to learn.
In line with Learnalink’s approach, I use clear visual diagrams to break down complex concepts and help students connect ideas. My lessons focus on building genuine understanding and applying it effectively to exam questions—an approach that has helped my students improve from S/U grades to As at the A Levels. My goal is to make Biology feel less overwhelming, more intuitive, and genuinely rewarding to learn.
Fun Fact
When I'm not busy showing my students how cool Bio is, I'm pursuing my ambitions of becoming a doctor, reading novels in the age of Tiktok attention spans, or playing tennis very competitively and very mediocrely.
